But the waiting is the hardest part

One of the hardest things I’ve had to do of late is leave for a visit to go see my mom, which I’m nearing the completion of now. It’s hard because it’s been so hard to leave Nickey behind (the trip was planned before I met her). I’ve tried to enjoy my visit with my mom as much as possible, and I have enjoyed my time with her, but I still can’t wait to get back to see Nickey and Hayden again. Part of me is missing right now, and it’s waiting for me at home. In just a little over 21 hours I’ll be back home and complete once again. I just can’t wait.

I gotta say, I never thought I’d feel this way.
